New Democratic congresswoman takes civil discourse to lower level with mother of all comments on president

So I get it that Democrats are all fired up about winning the House and can’t wait to … politically speaking … take President Trump to the woodshed or worse.

Democrats took back the House because our president gave them more than enough ammunition by acting and saying things that have fired up the Left.

Yes, some liberals will hate anything the president or Republicans do because they do not like their policies. But this president has given the Left more  to work with and has threatened conservatism in America because  civil discourse has become even more coarse during his two years in office.

It’s not his positions I disagree with … he seems to have no discernment. And when people turn away from how you say things they do not listen to what you are saying.

But just when I thought it couldn’t get worse, trust a liberal to drop discourse to an even lower level.

The following is from a Washington Post story:

“Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) made history Thursday afternoon for being the first Palestinian-American woman sworn into Congress.

Hours later, she made headlines for simply swearing at a Washington bar.

At a reception Thursday night for the progressive group MoveOn.org, Tlaib vowed the new Democrat-controlled House would be focusing on ousting President Trump from office.

… We’re gonna go in there and we’re gonna impeach the mother——.”

Classy.

Then, kinda like our president does, she doubled down, Tweeting:

“I will always speak truth to power,” Tlaib tweeted Friday, adding the hashtag #unapologeticallyMe.

Real classy.

I have no issue with the  fact Tlaib is a muslim and in Congress. The House should look like America and there are muslims in America. But she’s not representing her people well  right from the start.

Some of my conservative friends love the harsh give and take of politics.

I don’t. And despite Nancy Pelosi’s efforts to strike bipartisan notes as she took over the House speakership Thursday, it looks like it’s only going to get worse.

Maybe we need some real mothers to get involved and wash a whole lot of people’s mouths out with soap.
