Want to write something for Lubbock Lights?
We’d like to have it – if it conforms to our standards.
They are:
- Not exceed 1,000 words
- You must use your name and we would like a headshot to accompany the piece.
- No bad language
- Don’t be a jerk … nothing wrong with disagreeing with some one or some thing, but don’t resort to name calling, insults.
- You must write the article … do not cut and paste something from a group. You may quote something, but don’t make it any more than 25 percent of the article.
- Don’t write false information … if we know it’s false, we will not use the article.
